BlueHarbor Acel Marine

I had just left CarMax dissatisfied when I stumbled on BlueHarbor Acel Marine. Jim was honest, transparent, straightforward, and offered me a significantly better price than CarMax - a fair price for my vehicle. I sold my vehicle today. No regrets. Excellent service, excellent company, and they are definitely worthy of one's business.

I had never heard of them prior to today but I'm really happy I gave it the consideration I did. I'm really glad I sold my car so that I could now focus on more important things.

Went there trying to get a couple more bucks as they advertised. I'm guessing they couldn't offer more than CARMAX which I understand. What's messed up is that they don't tell you. They told me " We will call you back in an hour" still waiting for the call....

We first went to car max and the across the street there they we flashing there sign ( actually was a guy in a shirt) we were in Doral location. The owner Jim was so nice he offered us a few hundred more than Car Max no brainer few hundred more is better than what Car Max offered, he was so pleasant and did all the paper work and we walk out with a check in hand. Definitely recommend them. I like supporting a small business vs a big company like Car Max. I would go back for sure.

This guy is the biggest liar ever.... he sold me a car with a bad transmission and blamed me for it because I drove it 300 miles home. He accused my mechanic for being a liar and when I told him I would take it at any transmission store of his choice he said he believes me but he would not help out with anything. I would not recommend you ever buy anything from this snake.

Fast and efficient customer service. Agents are very knowledgeable, warm and welcoming, and are willing to answer all questions. They were attentive to all my needs and prices are extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend to all!

After receiving a slightly disappointing offer from Carmax, I decided to go across the street (a guy was waiving a sign for WeBuyMoreAuto). It was a great decision to go! I was initially greeted by Jim, as I parked in front of the building. Jim, and his associate Paula, were so helpful and honest. While Carmax was not pushy either, BlueHarbor Acel Marine was a more personal, and quiet, experience. Jim confirmed that the amount Carmax offered was indeed within range of an accurate market value offer but that they, at BlueHarbor Acel Marine, were able to offer me a few hundred dollars more. Upon bringing my car back within 5 days later, Paula prepared the paperwork; I signed and left with a refund check in hand (as my car was in positive equity). Paula, and Jim, were attentive to my needs throughout the entire process, even up to the final payoff of my car. Paula provided outstanding service as she addressed all of my questions and concerns during this two-week timeframe. I would highly recommend BlueHarbor Acel Marine :) And yes, I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Simple and straight forward. Jim reviewed the appraisal from carmax, examined the car and took it for a test drive. He offered me more money than the carmax appraisal and I received payment immediately. Would definitely do business with him again.

Don't waste your time. I had an extra car so called these people after seeing the yelp reviews and figured it was easier if they could come to my house. They told me that no one could come for 2 days but would call me back with a ballpark price. The ballpark price was extremely low so I brought it out to carmax and they offered me 2 thousand dollars more than the highest range in these people's ballpark price. After I told them this they asked me to send them the paperwork for the offer from carmax because they can probably pay a couple of hundred dollars more and once I did I heard nothing back. I even tried to contact them and no response. Don't waste your time these people are unprofessional and definitely do not pay more.

Amazing experience. I went to their new place in Miami and I had a wonderful experience. They beat Carmax's offer and they were very honest.  Thank you Jhamel for everything, without you selling my car would have been a pain. I wish I could give you guys more than 5 stars!

What a diamond in the rough of the shady auto sales world. I called Jim after first contacting someone else who a friend had recommended. This other guy was so sketchy (reduced his offer after realizing it was much higher than Carmax) that I decided I would rather sell my car to Carmax, even though this other guy was still offering a bit more than they were. Just before going back to Carmax, I called Jim. He offered me more than a shady guy, and even more importantly, was a pleasure to do business with. Once we decided to sell the car to him, he brought cash and picked up the car from our house while my wife was home alone, and I had zero concerns about doing that. I highly recommend this business.

I recently sold my Infiniti G37 S coupe and the whole experience was great, fast and easy. I highly recommend everyone to get their cars appraised by Carmax then bring the offer to BlueHarbor Acel Marine and im pretty sure you'll get a better offer than Carmax.

I sold my 2004 Lexus to BlueHarbor Acel Marine in May 2015.  Jim McLennon could not have been more professional.

Very professional service!  Jim came to my place and appraised the car.  I had tried to sell privately, but was not getting anywhere and was tired of wasting my valuable time.  I knew ahead of time that I would not get as much money from them as from a private buyer, but was ok with that.  They offered me $500 more than Carmax, and gave me the money on the spot.  Would highly recommend to anyone considering this route.

I had a very positive experience working with BlueHarbor Acel Marine. Granted, you won't get as much as if you sold your car privately to a buyer directly, but for ease and speed, this is the way to go. My wife and I were moving so it was very convenient for Jim, the owner, to come directly to our home and evaluate our two cars. We worked out a fair offer (better than I could have gotten from Carmax) and he paid us cash. Jim was very professional and courteous. I would use them again if I had to.
